Tags and a Tea Party

Today I went to a Tea Party!  It was a grown up one! Where we got dressed up and had tea in pretty tea pots and had yummy finger food with it! Why you ask?  Well my friend Kristen is getting married and we had a Tea Party Shower at the Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill. WOW!!  Is what I have to say!  It was so fun! We each were able to choose our own tea and it came in a really neat tea pot. No two were alike and the goodies were just yummy!  I love going to tea and wish I could do it more often! 
Anyway,  my story did involve some card making.  I put together cards for Kristen and made tags for her gifts. I really enjoy seeing how other view what I do.  I really was not feeling one of my tags, but everyone seemed to think they were great.  What do you think? I had trouble taking pictures of the one with all the metal. Sorry for the pictures.  First I can not find my camera cord so the picture is with my iphone.  
I am now hoping that my cord shows up soon or I am in trouble!  Well, I am off to finish some chores before bed!  Have a wonderful week!

    Hun was your tea party? What a great idea! I love tea and add in friends...perdect combo! I think your tags look great! Sometimes I just don't feel it but others do....it is great to ahve an outside opinion! Hope you find your cord!

    I don't know how or where you got the metal, but that's pretty dang cool. Tags are so so fun to make. I love tea parties too - my daughter and I throw a couple every year...such sweet girl time!

    That sound like such a fun shower, I love tea party's also . Love your tags and can see why everyone else did too. Love all the layers on the first one with the gorgeous flower, and embossing on the second one is so pretty. . Glad you had fun. have a nice Easter Jessie!
