Summer Fun

Happy Sunday!  I can not believe that it is almost the middle of August!  Summer seems to fly by faster and faster as I grow older!!  I was gone last weekend so this weekend I planned a low key weekend consisting of being home and hanging out.  I was suppose to go and hang with some friends by the pool when the weather decided not to agree.  We had rain which we really needed and when it finally finished it was late in the afternoon so I headed to Church and hung at home.  I did get in my craft room and played around.  I made this card for a friend I love being able to sit down and use what is on my desk.  I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend! Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Great card! I love the rustic feel I get when I look at it! Did you use cork?

  2. I love the deep rich colors in this card, very nice. It is so nice when we do have time to just sit and have a chance to make a card. Rime is going by way to fast. Take care Jessie .

  3. Jessie.......I just love the cork with the sentiment. It looks awesome against that patterned paper for a background!

  4. Love that big black sentiment on the grungy mustard paper to go with the grunge look of the patterned paper. It's a hip vintage look, I like it...and on the green is so unexpected.

Thanks for all the great comments you leave on my blog, Jessie; you are so sweet.

    Have a great weekend!
